Bomberman: Act Zero did not quite get the critical appeal Hudson had hoped for, so they went back to the old school formula and tasked Backbone Entertainment with putting the classic into a next-gen look. Currently scheduled for June, Bomberman lets you play online with up to 8 players, with monthly tournaments and content updates, customizable characters and bombs.

BioShock is 2K Games' hybrid first-person shooter, in the works over at System Shock 2 developers Irrational Games, combining elements of sci-fi and role-playing genres.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a PS3 exclusive remake of the original but with an improved combat system, updated graphics, new weapons, exclusive character, locations, and the ability to wield dual katanas. At its Nite Out 07 press event, Tecmo's Yosuke Hayashi confirmed the game is finished and on track for its July release.

Square Enix's Dragon Quest IX: Defender of the Stars, developed by Level 5, is the first title on any Nintendo system since Dragon Quest VI, 10 years ago. Featuring WiFi support for four players in co-op, DQ IX is currently scheduled for released mid-2007 in Japan.

Insomniac is working on Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, the series next-gen adventure debut on the PS3, and creative manager Brian Allgeier revealed that the development team is putting their focus on creating a massive single-player adventure, no multiplayer will be included.
