After Vivendi released its 2005 horror/FPS FEAR, it had a falling out with developer Monolith, who was acquired by Warner Bros. in mid-development. A sequel was announced by both parties, but since Vivendi owns the franchise rights, Monolith's product obviously cannot be called F.E.A.R. 2. It has therefore started a contest to get the community involved in finding a suitable name. The "Name the sequel to F.E.A.R." contest is now open until June 22, after which judges will select 3 titles and put them online for gamers to vote for their favorite.

For the first time, Video Games Live will perform in Washington D.C. at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for two performances by the National Symphony Orchestra.
