Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade sold through approximately 3.5 million copies within one month following its mid-January launch. Renegade Kid announced its NDS exclusive The Ward, telling a twisted story with gruesome 3D visuals and FPS gameplay. The game's interactive narrative reveals the puzzling nature of a strange hospital frozen-in-time, and introduces a cast of peculiar characters.

CCP Games announced the integration of voice communication into leading Sci-Fi MMOG EVE Online. Players will now be able to speak to each other for better coordination, negotiation, socializing and planning, adding a new dimension to the game.

System 3 announced the re-launch of the enhanced classic Epyx Commodore 64 title, Impossible Mission, where you take the role of a secret agent attempting to stop evil genius Professor Elvin Atombender who has been tampering with National Security Computers.

EA announced today it has signed on to publish Harmonix's next title, in cooperation with MTV. Oddly enough the announcement did not reveal any details as to what sort of title, its name, platform, nor an estimated release time. Harmonix is of course known for developing the Guitar Hero, and Karaoke Revolution franchise and promises that its next title will take all they have learned from past projects to the next level.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 borrows various elements from Monster Hunter 2 on the PS2.
