The Settlers II: The Next Generation is the remake of BlueByt's 2D classic Settlers 2, making the jump to 3D. Ubisoft has released a new patch v11757 patch, addressing some multiplayer issues, fixing various text problems, as well as making sure everything works with The Vikings addon.

Now here is an interesting rumor... According to unidentified insider sources, EALA has recently pitched the idea of bringing the Crysis engine in-house to develop what is said to be a new FPS in the C&C universe. While it is only speculation at this point, the chances are extremely high according to the source, but whether this will be a sequel to the failed C&C Renegade, or an all-new IP was not disclosed. Here's to hoping!

Take Two Europe Signs 'The Red Star' (PS2) - Screens

Take Two has signed a co-publishing agreement with XS Games to bring former Acclaim shooter The Red Star to European territories. The Red Star takes place in a parallel fantasy universe in which a mythic empire based on the Soviet Union sets the landscape for an epic battle of militarized sorcery and monolithic technology.
