NASCAR SimRacing is the perfect combination of realism, true racing ‘feel’, depth, and advanced EA SPORTS presentation. This update primarily addresses scoring and rules related problems that have been brought to EA's attention for both single and multiplayer modes. The update does however include fixes for some other areas and also includes the new Dodge Charger for the NEXTEL Cup Series - 2005.

For 18 months, a dedicated team of NASCAR gaming veterans from the top shops has been focused on creating the ultimate simulation for the 2005 NASCAR season. The game will feature the new Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series championship format and will also include the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Busch Series.

EA Tiburon is working on the first patch for EA Sports' NASCAR SimRacing due to be released in the near future. Electronic Arts announced today that NASCAR SimRacing from the EA SPORTS brand is shipping for the PC. NASCAR SimRacing was developed by a dedicated PC production team for more than 18 months with the help of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series drivers including Ryan Newman and Dale Earnhardt Jr. The drivers' contribution to the game assisted the team in producing the most realistic NASCAR PC simulation game to date.

EA announced today that NASCAR SimRacing, will feature NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series star Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 12 ALLTEL Dodge. In addition to being both cover athlete and spokesperson for the franchise, Newman also worked extensively with the game development team to produce the most realistic NASCAR PC simulation to date.

EA just informed us that EA SPORTS' NASCAR SimRacing has gone gold! NASCAR SimRacing was developed expressly for PC simulation fans and will ship to retail outlets nationwide on Tuesday, February 15th.

Blackhole Motorsports has gotten word that EA will be releasing a Nascar SimRacing demo the week of the 17th. The cars in the demo will represent the 2004 Season artwork, but when the game releases, we will have a download available in the install that will update with all of the 2005 car art. Featuring two tracks (Indianapolis and Phoenix), and allowing you to make laps as Kurt Busch.
