Nintendo revealed a diverse lineup of new video games set to launch during the second quarter of 2011. Whether they're playing at home on the Wii, having fun on the go with the  NDS family of systems or discovering the new  3DS hand-held system, consumers will have a wide variety of 50 engaging, inclusive experiences to choose from.

Earlier today Nintendo of America kicked off a 2 day press event showing off the new Nintendo DSi, and a variety of new Wii/DS features as well as new titles for both platforms, here's a recap of the press briefing.

With all the recent departures due to its relocation, Nintendo of America announced the hiring of two new executive vice presidents. Cammie Dunaway will serve as the company's new executive vice president, sales & marketing, while Shigeyuki Takahashi will serve as executive vice president, special assignment.

Last month NoA announced it would be selling off its land in Redmond, Wash., right next to Microsoft, and would instead be moving the North American headquarters to New York or San Francisco. As a result, current employees had the choice of relocating or receiving a substantial severance package. Today, it was revealed that 90% of NoA's sales and marketing team will not make the move, including VP of marketing George Harrison, VP of marketing and corporate affairs Perrin Kaplan and the company's PR head, Beth Llewelyn.
