Originally only made for the arcades, Bandai revealed that Noritaka Funamizu's studio Kraft & Meister, formerly with Capcom, is working on a Super Dragon Ball Z PS2 conversion. No details are available at this point but it is scheduled for release in Japan during 2006.

Capcom announced that it is bringing one of its most popular PSOne RPG series to the PSP. Breath of Fire III will not break any new boundaries as graphically it is nothing special, as are most RPG's anyhow, apart from the PSP's 16:9 display. On the other hand you will be able to play the minigames in multiplayer through the PSP's game sharing function.

While its official announcement isn't due until Monday it seems Capcom has already revealed the first bits of info on its nextgen title. Lost Planet is a sci-fi FPS title for the X360 with a strong MechAssault flavor to it, the main character is modeled after Korean actor Lee Byung Hun. Produced by Keiji Inafune, known for Dead Rising and Onimusha, Lost Planet will have you battle huge aliens, bug like creatures, mechs and other not so humans species in large city environments, and cave dwellings.

Gearbox Software's community manager Allison "ennui" Berryman sends word that one of their developers has been working on a DM/TDM mod for BiA (both titles), which he has released to the community. One of the most requested gameplay modes for BiA was a traditional deathmatch, and Jeffrey Broome spent his time developing one to invigorate the multiplayer aspect of the game. Ubisoft has released its Q1 2006 financial results, which reports an overall increase of 20%. More importantly, the January-March 2006 release schedule was included, which sheds light on quite a few new titles. For starters, Brothers in Arms is coming to the PSP, Blazing Angels gets an X360 edition, 187: Ride or Die is getting a PSP version under the name of Street Riders, Splinter Cell Essentials has been confirmed, and it seems that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is no longer coming to the Gamecube. Ascaron announced todya that its latest title in the Tortuga franchise has been renamed from Pirate's Revenge to Tortuga: Two Thrones. Ascaron has added additional storywriters to the team, and as a result the game expanded beyond its original boundaries, and so a name change was in order.

In January 2006 CBS' 60 Minutes will air a feature segment covering Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel and the international explosion of professional video gaming. The episode began filming one year ago at a gaming event in Sweden, and concludes with the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) World Finals in New York City, with many stops in between. Earlier this year,
Ubisoft's 2005-2006 release schedule made mention that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell was going to be making an appearance on the PSP. While there still has not been an official announcement rumors are floating around that it may be called Splinter Cell : Essentials, and that name might indicate some sort of compilation instead of an all new product. Either way, the PSP will most likely includes wifi multiplayer, which is always a welcome addition.

German publisher dtp has just signed a publishing contract with French company Micro Application about the publishing of Dreamfall in the German speaking countries. The long awaited sequel to the legendary The Longest Journey will be on the shelves in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in April 2006.
