Westwood Studios announced today that it has released a major patch for Earth & Beyond that includes new grouping features, an upgraded skill system, and an improved chat interface. Earth & Beyond is an online role-playing galaxy that will be published by EA under the EA GAMES brand in summer 2002. This patch incorporates most of the game's major features into the public test. Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced the development of Battle Realms: Winter of the Wolf -- the next episode to the Battle Realms series developed by Thousand Oaks, CA based Liquid Entertainment. This prequel to the epic Battle Realms story will feature new expansion units and characters that will immerse gamers deeper into the Battle Realms world revealing the history and struggle of the Wolf Clan. Eidos Germany has announced Frontline Attack: War over Europe, a 3D real-time strategy game in the works at Poland-based development teams In Images and Reality Pump. Frontline Attack: War over Europe uses the Earth III engine known from games such as Earth 2140, Earth 2150. Eidos seems to have picked up the rights to Zuxxez Entertainment's "World War II: Panzer Claws", the 3D RTS that was already in development since last year.
