US Xbox 360 owners will see the kick-off of a strong month of content coming from new partners like ABC (Lost, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy), Disney Channel and MGM. Industry sources expect the BBC to increase its output and start creating products which will be taken more seriously in the gaming community. Currently it offers a limited number of games, mainly titles for children. Last month Eidos revealed its internal studio is working on a Dr.Who game, and its new media boss Simon Nelson is scheduled to keynote at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival next week.

Blizzard can't seem to get enough of having WoW appear on TV as there's another cool opportunity coming up to see World of Warcraft on primetime TV. The upcoming episode of "Help Me Help You," (TV-PG) a new sitcom on ABC, features the game in a portion of the story line. Lionhead Studios announced today that its plans for Xbox title BC have been suspended. Lionhea's Peter Molyneux said : “The decision to suspend work on any games project is always a very difficult one, particularly when it is a title with the potential of BC. We hope to revive the project at a later date and will endeavour to assign as many of the team as possible to other Lionhead projects.” (

Capcom Eurosoft today reaffirmed its relationship with Bigben Interactive UK, by confirming that BBI will distribute two of its forthcoming Gameboy Color titles, 'Mega Man Xtreme 2' and 'Toki Tori'.
