It's the weekend, and I'm glad it's here.
There isn't anything special going on, so it'll be nice and relaxing. There's only one movie that's worth seeing this weekend —
The Hunger Games — and we already saw it earlier this week in an advance premiere. While it's a good action movie, I'm not quite sure what all the fuss is about. It's already broken all sorts of records although it's only been out for 24 hours. It's not like the idea of a televised manhunt is new (
The Running Man,
Surviving the Game), but this has teenagers beating each other to a bloody pulp instead.
At any rate, later today, the FireFall beta will be up again for a few hours, so it'll be nice to get into that now that phase one of the Ghost Recon Online beta has ended.
