We ended up going to the movie theater and saw
Conan the Barbarian, which wasn't as bad as we expected.
Jason Momoa's aspirations that this movie would make him a household name aren't going to happen anytime soon, but we all had a fairly good time watching it, so not quite sure what all the negativity was about.
However, I'd rather have seen
Warrior again, so for people who need a little nudge to watch it, do it. For people who may have never heard of it but are into a good action movie, you won't be disappointed.
Today is a holiday, Labor Day, so coverage will probably be slow, and we're heading out to a BBQ for lunch! Yay!

Not much going on yesterday. The in-laws were visiting other friends and doing their thing, so I had the house to myself. This meant I got in more Deus Ex and plenty of APB Reloaded.
We had planned on seeing a movie in the evening but a case of the lazies befell us, so we decided to watch
Lincoln Lawyer and the latest episode of
Torchwood instead. We might go to the theater later today and check out
Conan the Barbarian,
Rise of the Planet of the Apes or
Colombiana, but it's anybody's guess.
The weather has been quite nice over the past few days, so we had a vanilla fudge Drumstick cone to top off a beautiful day.

The in-laws have landed for the holiday weekend, so I've locked myself away in my man cave. I'll be playing Deus Ex and APB all weekend long. Maybe I'll come out to see if the world's still spinning, but that's very unlikely.
Speaking of Deus Ex, I was just about to get bored with the current setting when things changed, and an entire new environment awaited. The pacing is perfect, if you ask me.
I also got a
Hedone beta invite, so I'll have to check that out ... at least until Blizzard activates my Diablo III beta!
