There was a little PR scuffle today with Duke Nukem Forever. The Redner Group, which was the PR firm in charge of the title,
threatened to remove journalists from the press list if they gave DNF a low review score. 2K Games took swift action and issued a statement clarifying that they do not condone this type of behavior and that The Redner Group will no longer be representing 2K (AKA fired!).
After months of mediocre weather, summer is rearing its pretty head. The sun is out and about, and the temperatures are rising. About time!
Time to check out Duke Nukem Forever, The Witcher 2 and Red Faction: Armageddon.

Last year, THQ snagged creative director Patrice Désilets, known for Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia titles, from Ubisoft. The french publisher/developer didn't quite like that and blocked Désilets from working on any titles for a year. That statute has now expired, and THQ's Montreal studio revealed it is working on a new project.
