A batch of new games will be available in stores today, and while I enjoy racing games like Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed, I've never been good at actually playing them. It's frustrating, but that never stops me from trying! Our OnLive Game Systems did not arrive yesterday. Maybe next time, I should try to actually read the shipping label, as it's due for delivery today.

Now that Sucker Punch is out of the way, we have our eyes set on the next few movies, such as Source Code, Your Highness, Hanna, maybe Arthur when we're bored, and yes, even Fast Five looks pretty good.

We saw Sucker Punch yesterday, and it was quite good. Everybody in our party liked it — some more than others — but all were in agreement that it was good. For some reason, the sound was turned WAY up, so it was overwhelming when the music was playing during the awesome fight sequences. The story itself, Zack Snyder's first original script, was a bit flimsy with some head-scratchers here and there, but the action and stylish filming made up for that.

We did all our errands yesterday, so we have nothing planned but brunch with some friends and working on the DVR backlog. Sweet!

Sometime next week, we should be getting a few OnLive Game Systems, so I'm quite looking forward to testing out how it actually works and playomg some of these games on HDTV with surround sound. Not sure which titles I'm going to play when it arrives, but I do wonder, since these games are offered via streaming, which version do we get? PC or console? And if we get the PC version, can we tweak the graphical settings? If not, what are the default settings we get to play with ?

Later today, we are going to see Sucker Punch. Hot chicks with guns, stuff blowing up — what's not to like, right?!

While in the original you played as Alex Mercer, the tables will be turned in the sequel as you will control Sergeant James Heller with the sole mission of finishing off the protagonist of the first title by becoming a a mutated monster yourself.
