In an alternate past, steel, steam, and oil have become essential resources for the military forces of the age: gigantic steel colossi weighing several tons, steered by half a dozen men and women. These machines maintain the balance of power between the four largest empires. But machines require fuel – which is a scarce commodity.

Man, these weekends really ought to be longer. They are over way too quickly.
Not much was accomplished this weekend, but it was nice and relaxing.
We did not end up going to see The Adjustment Bureau, as our friend canceled on us, so we postponed it until later. Next weekend, however, we're SO going to go see Battle: L.A., I've been drooling over that movie for months now! We did watch some more Supernatural and a few episodes of Mr. Sunshine.
I also wanted to clarify that
Dinner for Schmucks mentioned yesterday is a horrible movie, it was never high on our "to watch" list and now we know why. The boring, uninspired, snore-inducing moments WAY outnumbered the occasional chuckles.

Yesterday was a semi-quiet day, mostly spent on the couch watching "Dinner for Schmucks" and a few episodes of Supernatural. We did our weekly errands and groceries and then headed out to dinner with some friends at a nice French restaurant. Yay for tasty food!
Not quite sure what the schedule is for today. We are supposed to watch "The Adjustment Bureau" with a friend but haven't finalized those plans yet. We'll either see it by ourselves or stay home, and I'll use the downtime to make some more progress on putting together my new PC.
Or we may just end up on the couch watching TV and playing video games all day. It's anybody's guess. :)

GDC is over! There were some good announcements, some good games, and lots of nice parties and events all around. From what I recall, this GDC news cycle was a little slower than usual. Unfortunately, this also means that E3 is just around the corner, and according to a few of our PR friends, the planning has already begun. Yuck!
