My issues with the headset in CrimeCraft have been resolved. It turns out that it wasn't due to faulty equipment after all but rather
PEBKAC, as running
Ventrillo in adminstrator mode seems to fix the problem.
We did not get as much watching done as we wanted to yesterday — only two episodes of Lost. We ran some errands, took a nap, watched TV, and then it was time for dinner, after which we tried to watch some Chuck but promptly dozed off.
Let's try to better that today ...

Our night on the town got off to a troublesome start last night, as one of our friends was already drunk from the get-go. Luckily, said person is not an annoying drunk and seemed to sober up during the course of dinner, only to get drunk again after a few glasses of wine.
Anyhow, no specific plans for this weekend, so today will be spent doing some minor errands, watch lots of movies/TV series and squeeze in some gaming to mix it all up. Sounds good, right?
