Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising sees the most realistic modeling of conflict scenarios in a new contemporary theater of war. Yesterday was a bit of a letdown. Our trip to the Chabot Space & Science Center was a little disappointing since it was mainly an outing for parents to take their kids and learn about space/evolution. The place was filled with screaming and running 8-year-olds, and while that in itself wouldn't have been any issue, the telescope was not operational due to overcast weather, so we did not get to see much apart from a 45-minute IMAX movie about dinosaurs. Yawn. The center itself is located on a hill, which gave us an amazing view of the area, so that kind of made up for it.

We did manage to get our DVR replaced, so hopefully the skipping and crashing will be a thing of the past. Too bad there were still a few shows on the old one that we hadn't watched yet.
