The 3DO Company today announced the development of the Army Men: Air Combat “The Elite Missions” game for the Nintendo GameCube system. The Army Men: Air Combat “The Elite Missions” game follows the exploits of the heroic Captain Blade and his Alpha Wolf Squadron as they once again take to the skies in support of the Green Army in their ongoing struggle with the Tan forces. The first MOD for Mobile Forces is now available, Mental Race is a new, bonus gametype for Mobile Forces, put together by the game's creators, Real Time Worlds. Mental race is designed to be placed in maps compatible with Mobile Forces' Trailer mode, i.e. 'mf-' maps, such as the 11 original environments which came with the retail release, and any extra 'tra-' maps created by the community. The new game type can be started from the Skirmish mode screen for offline play with bots, or from the Multiplayer Host game screen for LAN or internet play.
