The story of Valkyria Chronicles II takes place two years after the conclusion of the original game. Nucleosys was a two-man Argentinian studio known for making atmospheric mystery adventure games such as Scratches. It was working on Risk Profile: Federal Cases, an educational adventure game, which took much longer than expected to finish and has so far only been released in its home country.
