Mirror's Edge is a first-person action adventure game where you are Faith, a 'runner' framed for murder in a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. Already credited for writing the game's story, writer and story designer Rhianna Pratchett teams up with artist Matthew Dow Smith to create a six-part comic series, serving as prequel to the game.

Metal Gear Online is a dedicated online game featuring characters, weaponry and levels taken from and inspired by Metal Gear Solid 4, allowing up to 16 people to play simultaneously. Stargate Worlds, an MMORPG use Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 technology, provides players with a form of ranged combat unique to MMORPG that will take full advantage of modern and science fiction weaponry, cover and terrain. FireSky will be showing off Stargate Worlds at next month's Comic-Con in San Diego.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe forces friends to fight, worlds to collide, and unlikely alliances to be forged. While the game carries a Teen-rating it will include modified finishers, just not the over the top tearing someone's head off type stuff.

City of Heroes developer Cryptic Studios has a teaser counter on its website indicating that a new game announcement is scheduled for 27th July, the last day of San Diego Comic-Con. With the demise of Perpetual Entertainment earlier this year, its Star Trek Online project was said to have been taken over by a Bay Area developer, Cryptic Studios' area of operation. Fans of the game claim that the teaser picture is early material from the STO development, further giving credence to the rumor.

The official Spider-Man: Web of Shadows web site has kicked off a new vote allowing Spider-Man fans to take control of the Web of Shadows campaign. Help pick the model who will appear at San Diego Comic-Con dressed up as Black Cat, tailor-made exactly to the specifications of the in-game character costumes. The vote will last until Monday, June 16th, when Spider-Man fans will then pick who will be portraying Mary Jane at Comic-Con.
