Namco Bandai Games Europe announced the signing of a new agreement to continue its distribution of major titles from developer and publisher Codemasters across continental Europe and Australasia.

While an official announcement has yet to be made, Namco Bandai announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Bethesda to bring Fallout: New Vegas to Europe. The new installment in the Fallout series is under development at Obsidian (former Black Isle Studios, known for KOTOR II, Neverwinter Nights 2) who is currently finishing up Alpha Protocol. Whether Fallout: New Vegas will use Obsidian's own engine or an updated version of the Fallout 3 one has not yet been revealed but it was disclosed that the new game is not a sequel but a standalone game.

Namco Bandai Games America announced today their intent to increase its digital distribution presence. This overall strategy will ensure consumers have access to hard-to-find gems and the latest best-selling content available at their fingertips.

RealD announced that Namco Bandai Games has introduced its proprietary Stereoscopic Gaming API into their development environment, delivering an automated continuous approach to 3D that is compatible with real-time rendering and promises to bring 3D cinema experience to console gaming.

Catherine Fowler has joined the senior management team as senior vice president of marketing, Robert Stevenson as vice president of online development, and Graeme Bayless comes to the organization as studio general manager.

Namco Bandai announced that it plans to acquire D3Publisher, so both companies can work together in order to strengthen global developments and expand business, especially overseas. Namco Bandai has already reached an agreement with share holders to purchase 70% of D3P's shares, and hopes to acquire the full 100% shortly.
