Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will extend the Friends franchise to the videogame space with Friends: The One With All The Trivia for console and PC. Scheduled for nationwide release on Nov. 15, 2005, the Friends: The One With All The Trivia videogame will launch in conjunction with the final season of the TV on DVD franchise, Friends: The Complete Tenth Season.

Midway announced today that former professional football standout and Hall of Fame inductee, Lawrence Taylor, will serve as the official cover athlete for Midway's new, unlicensed football videogame, Blitz: The League. Blitz: The League exposes the harsh realism and troubling, behind-the-scenes stories of a fictional professional football league.

Ascaron announced todya that it has signed Plastic Reality's third person stealth/action title, El Matador. Take on the role of a DEA agent, whose aim is to bring down the Narcomafia, an organised crime syndicate in Central & South America. You will need to use all your skill and cunning to achieve victory against these high overwhelming odds. El Matador has now been pushed from Q3 2005, to Q2 2006.

Codename: Panzers, Phase Two will bring armchair generals to the war-torn battlefields of Africa, Southern Europe and the Balkans where they will fight as the Anglo-American Allies, the German-Italian Axis or the Yugoslavian resistance. This multiplayer demo features two maps ("Road to Perdition" and "Factions) in Mission and Domination modes. The demo supports up to six players in Internet and LAN play and features units from early in the WWII timeline.

X-Men Legends II introduces the epic storyline of an uneasy alliance between the X-Men and the hated Brotherhood in a fight to reclaim Earth from Apocalypse's grasp. Impressive gameplay enhancements include more than double the superpowers and customization capabilities, the debut of several new playable characters, over 100 diverse types of enemies, and a breathtaking range of exotic and real-world environments—from the Madri Temple to Egypt.

While we are still waiting for Capcom to release RE4 on PS2, the sequel is already in the works, according to Japanese magazine Famitsu. For the very first time in franchise history, the next game in the series won't debut on a Nintendo platform, but is so far only scheduled for PS3 and X360. While it is way too early to speculate on a release date, Capcom producer Takeuchi Jun says "We would need 3 or maybe 5 years to fully exploit the capabilities of the new generation of systems, but right now this is the project Capcom is putting the most effort into." Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 is the next in the series of railroad simulators developed by Auran. Previously known as Engineers Edition, TRS2006 is being released as a full product later this year and sets new standards of realism and immersion in operating a virtual railroad.
