PS2.IGN confirmed with Sierra Studios today that an original, forthcoming X-Files game is in development for PS2 and Xbox in spring 2003. The upcoming X-Files game, as of yet untitled, is a single-player survival-horror game in development with Black Ops (Street Hoops, Knockout Kings, BlackDawn) for PS2 and Xbox, and scheduled for a Q2 2003 release date. Actors Jillian Anderson and David Duchovny will pitch in to do the voices for their X-Files characters Dana Scully and Fox Mulder.

'Outlaw Volleyball' will draw on the Xbox graphic capabilities to provide extremely well-rendered and fun environments with dynamic elements. This new controller utilises RF technology, working on a frequency of 868Mhz – specially set aside for wireless controllers, so this will not cause interference with other house hold appliances or mobile phones. Interplay and Vivendi Universal Games today announced the development of the sci-fi video game Run Like Hell for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. This survival horror game previously released on the Sony PlayStation2 has been modified to take full advantage of the Xbox technology, including in game support of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound to accompany the state-of-the art 3D environments. In addition to expanding the existing gameplay area, an exclusive new level has also been created, as well as downloadable content that will be available via Xbox Live. Run Like Hell for the Xbox will be available in the spring of 2003.
