The next age in the upcoming game, Myst III: Exile for PS2 and Xbox -- Edanna the Nature Age. Edanna is a fantastic, living edifice that rises some 200 feet above the ocean. Each Age in Myst III: Exile was designed by a different designer, so the Ages all have a very distinctive look and feel. Amateria has a very oriental feel with extensive basalt columns, Japanese architecture, and glowing crystal formations.

European gamers have even more to be celebrating heading into this Christmas shopping season as Microsoft today announced that the European price of its Xbox video game system will be reduced to an estimated street price of €249.99/£159.99, effective from Friday, 30th August.

Set for full nationwide retail availability on Turok Bloody Sunday - 9-1-02, Turok: Evolution is the first Turok game that will be simultaneously released on the PS2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance.

Midway Sports, the sports brand of Midway Games Inc., announced today that MLB SlugFest 20-03, the first-ever adrenaline-style console baseball videogame, has shipped for the Xbox. MLB SlugFest 20-03 is also available for the PSn2 and is scheduled to ship for the Nintendo GameCube later this summer, with the Game Boy Advance version to follow in fall.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will release in time for the lucrative Christmas 2002 market exclusively on Xbox, with a PC version to appear by the end of the year. Xbox is the lead development platform for the game, which has been designed to take full advantage of the advanced graphics and sound capabilities of Xbox. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell will also feature online elements using the recently announced Xbox Live service. After we announced Acclaim's massive Turok campaign earlier today we now got several PS2/XBOX screens from Turok: Evolution - The Lost Land. Turok has gone gold a few days ago and should be out in stores shortly!
