The SWAT: Global Strike Team was founded in 2018 as an international offshoot of the U.S. SWAT organization. Primarily established to supplement the income of the U.S. SWAT establishment, the Global Strike Team contract their personnel and expertise to companies and countries around the world to help “resolve” situations for those who have the funds but not the means to do so. The GST is made up of specially selected SWAT officers and ex-military personnel who have shown the ability to adapt to and overcome any situation they encounter. Like the U.S. SWAT organization, SWAT: GST is a life-saving institution whose mission is to uphold the laws of its operating country, so all efforts must be made to use only necessary force.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today its first baseball title for the Xbox, "Inside Pitch 2003." This Xbox Live enabled title will begin turning double plays, throwing brush back pitches and clearing the fences for the 2003 Major League Baseball season. Nomar Garciaparra will appear on the cover and serve as spokesperson for "Inside Pitch 2003." Joining the All-Star shortstop on the "Inside Pitch 2003" roster is the top broadcast team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Read more for details and screens.

In 'Wallace & Gromit' players will rescue young animals from the clutches of mischievous monkeys and thwart Feathers McGraw's twisted and diabolical plan for total zoo domination. Set in an immersive 3D world, the player is cast as Gromit and is challenged to solve puzzles and locate keys in order to rescue the young animals. Machine parts, located throughout the game's many testing levels, must also be gathered so that the ever-inventive Wallace can create a marvellous contraption with which to deal the final knockout blow to the dastardly Feathers and his vile plans. The Ghosts are back and ready for more action as Ubi Soft announces the Q3 2003 release of a stand-alone Xbox campaign disk for the award-winning Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is the game that gave Xbox Live players the total battlefield experience and earned numerous awards for its stunning gameplay and features, "Xbox Live's most exciting experience yet" said Edge magazine in their review of Ghost on Xbox Live. The game also received an Elite award from the Official Xbox Magazine UK, and Editor's Choice Award from ign.com.

Codemasters announced that its latest installment of the critically acclaimed racing series, Colin McRae Rally 3, shipped today for the Xbox. Colin McRae Rally 3 reintroduces gaming fans to the excitement of rally racing, as players assume the role Colin McRae himself in his quest for the World Champion Rally title.
