Ubisoft announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire MC2-Microids (Microids Canada) Canadian development operations and integrate them into its Montreal studio. The closing of this agreement is subject to requirements to be met by the two parties. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Following this agreement, Microids Canada's fifty employees will be integrated into Ubisoft's Montreal studio operations. This agreement does not cover any of MC2-Microids intellectual property or projects currently under development.

Last month LucasArts released
a small v1.01a patch for the UK/German editions of Knights of the Old Republic 2 addressing some ingame text issues, as well as update the game documentation. At that point the the community manager said a North American patch was due to be released soon, which is now being
confirmed by Obsidian's Chris Avellone, who also makes mention of a "content patch" due to be released later on. While there was specific release date or list of fixes provided, Chris did mention this was a pure bug fix patch.

The team formally known as The Red Orchestra team is ready for the next step. The first major project will of course be Red Orchestra. We will have more information on our further plans on Red Orchestra in the coming weeks. Next up we are also just as proud to announce that Tripwire will be at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) next week as guests of the Nvidia booth (booth 410).
