KOEI today announced that Dynasty Warriors 5 is coming to the Xbox and has planned for a fall 2005 North American launch. Dynasty Warriors 5 takes players back in time to an ancient land governed by chaos, and the mightiest warriors in history fight for control of the Chinese empire.

Konami announced today that the Castlevania franchise will make its debut on the the Xbox in fall 2005 with Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. While past Castlevania games have focused on the struggle between Dracula and the Belmont clan, Curse of Darkness introduces players to an entirely new storyline and main character – Hector, a Devil Forgemaster, and former Lieutenant of Dracula.

KOEI today announced the tenth edition of its historical simulation game will ship to North American retailers on June 21st, 2005. According to Amos Ip, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, this title will combine "the series' successful core features, new political and battle elements, and the most stunning visuals yet for a refreshing take on the hallowed franchise."

Legacy Interactive announced today that the company has been awarded the interactive publishing rights for multiple game platforms, including the Xbox and the PSP, for a video game based on the hit television show, “The Apprentice.” The PC video game will be available in Fall 2005 and will be distributed by Vivendi Universal Games in North America.

Agetec today announced its plans to introduce five new titles at the E³ in booth W2660 at the Los Angeles Convention Center next week. Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy XII will be released on the PlayStation 2 in fiscal year 2005 in Japan and fiscal year 2006 in North America. In addition, plans to bring a Final Fantasy title to the PlayStation 3 are just beyond the horizon.

Already revealed a few weeks ago, French developer Lexis Numérique, announced its latest title, Incrazyball. A sort of Marble Madness in 3D, where you guide a ball through crazy tracks, much like Super Monkey Ball. Multiplayer and an editor will be included in the game so you can design your own tracks and share them with the rest of the community.

Capcom today announced their first title in support of the Xbox 360 with Dead Rising (working title), a survival horror game that brings new meaning to the phrase “retail hell.” Dead Rising follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance photojournalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime.

KOEI for the first time revealed dramatic footage of its inaugural PlayStation 3 title, NI-OH at Sony's exclusive E3 Press Briefing. The clip, which depicts a blonde-haired samurai with blue eyes, is also being screened at the KOEI booth during the E3 held this week in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Tonight, Microsoft had its pre-E3 media briefing at the Shrine Auditorium. One of the major announcemens was the commitment of Square Enix to bring its Final Fantasy series to the X360, starting with FF XI. X360 will be backwards-compatible with top-selling Xbox games, and currently more than 160 games are in development for X360, with 25 to 40 games slated for release this calendar year.
