Konami announced today that the Castlevania franchise will make its debut on the the Xbox in fall 2005 with Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. While past Castlevania games have focused on the struggle between Dracula and the Belmont clan, Curse of Darkness introduces players to an entirely new storyline and main character – Hector, a Devil Forgemaster, and former Lieutenant of Dracula.

KOEI today announced the tenth edition of its historical simulation game will ship to North American retailers on June 21st, 2005. Well, we have arrived in Los Angeles, and in between the pre-E3 events and media briefings (the Microsoft party rocked!), we went down to the actual E3 convention center and snuck inside ninja-style to bring you a few sneak peek photos. The Nintendo video screens seemed to have a Mario soccer game on it and the Huxley trailer was amazing, but unfortunately, our disguise was compromised and we were escorted out ... twice. Already revealed a few weeks ago, French developer Lexis Numérique, announced its latest title, Incrazyball. A sort of Marble Madness in 3D, where you guide a ball through crazy tracks, much like Super Monkey Ball. Multiplayer and an editor will be included in the game so you can design your own tracks and share them with the rest of the community.

Tonight, Microsoft had its pre-E3 media briefing at the Shrine Auditorium. One of the major announcemens was the commitment of Square Enix to bring its Final Fantasy series to the X360, starting with FF XI. X360 will be backwards-compatible with top-selling Xbox games, and currently more than 160 games are in development for X360, with 25 to 40 games slated for release this calendar year. Various new titles were confirmed such as Mistwalker's Blue Dragon, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, Capcom's Dead Rising, Epic's Gears of War and also reiterated are the X360 specs. Read more for details ...
