Tiscali Games got a chance to chat with Petr Vochozka, CEO of Czech-based developer company Illusion Softworks about their recently released action game Mafia for PC. First part of interview includes questions and answers about fulfilling of their expectations, amount of sold copies during first months, problems with release in Italy, average rating in reviews, patch plans and possibility of multiplayer addon or AI improvements.

Computer and video game publisher Gathering of Developers, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software announced today that "Mafia" for the PC has shipped. Published by Gathering of Developers and developed by Czech Republic-based Illusion Softworks, "Mafia" is now available in stores nationwide.

A movie trailer for No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way is now available, showing the swinging sixties FPS sequel by Monolith Productions in motion. The movie comes in regular and low resolutions and runs for a bit under two minutes.. There is also a new teaser movie of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven, the third-person action game that is nearing completion at Illusion Softworks. The short movie introduces the game's setting and gameplay in half a minute.

Prague Business Journal has posted a interesting article about Italian police are trying to ban the game Mafia. Here follows a spot from the article:

President of the national anti-mafia police section Roberto Centaro told the national newspaper Il Giornale: "I'll do anything I can to ban the sale of the game in Italy. This is a proper instruction book for wannabe Mafiosi." Former interior minister Carlo Taormina said: "When it comes to Mafia, one simply cannot take it as a game. The latest news from Take-Two is that Mafia is sadly not going to make its January release date.
