Some men do not accept the rules. They create their own. It is 1930. Due to circumstances he couldn't possibly have predicted, Tommy's life as a cabdriver is about to be exchanged for a life in the Mafia. At first he continues his work as a driver and nothing could be better. He soon becomes good friends with his sidekicks Paulie and Sam, and although the work is sometimes risky, he earns more money than he did as a cabdriver. Prague Business Journal has posted a interesting article about Italian police are trying to ban the game Mafia. Here follows a spot from the article:
President of the national anti-mafia police section Roberto Centaro told the national newspaper Il Giornale: "I'll do anything I can to ban the sale of the game in Italy. This is a proper instruction book for wannabe Mafiosi." Former interior minister Carlo Taormina said: "When it comes to Mafia, one simply cannot take it as a game. There's really nothing to joke about here."

The latest news on the whereabouts of Illusion Softwork's imminent action/adventure Mafia is that the gangster-themed title has suffered a nasty slip, and with this current cold snap, it looks like that hip may not be mended until the Spring.
