3D Realms has just released the first update patch for their recently released 'Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project' (developed by Sunstorm Interactive). This v1.01 patch fixes a bunch of little problems, read more for a detailed fix list and links where to get it (

Activision, Inc. today announced that Raven Software’s first-person action game Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is the #1 best-selling PC game in the U.S., U.K. and Australia. The title topped U.S. PC sell through charts in both revenue and units for the week of May 26 – June 1, 2002 according to NPD Intelect and was the #1 game in the U.K. for the week of June 8, 2002 as reported by Elspa/Chart-Track. In Australia, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix has continued its three-week reign as the #1 PC title, according to Inform.

reported on Saturday, ensemblestudios and MS would today announce that 10,000 gamers will be invited to participate in Ensemble's online multiplayer test of Age of Mythology. Well now its soon time! Today they invite people to participate in their online multiplayer test. Between Friday, June 21 and Sunday, June 30, gamers will be able to sign up for a chance to be among the first to experience the wrath of the gods. This alpha version of Age of Mythology will contain two of the nine civilizations that will be available when the game is released this October. Up to four players will be able to compete head-to-head as a follower of either Zeus or Poseidon on one of two multiplayer maps. This limited alpha version of the game will be available to qualified testers in early July. Check out full pressrelease below!

THQ Inc. Chief Executive Brian Farrell said on Friday cuts in the price of PlayStation, Xbox and GameCube consoles have spurred sales of its video games, and should keep demand vibrant throughout the year. "For product that was on shelf as of May 1 ... there has been about a 20 percent lift," Farrell said in an interview with Reuters.
