The SWAT: Global Strike Team was founded in 2018 as an international offshoot of the U.S. SWAT organization. Primarily established to supplement the income of the U.S. SWAT establishment, the Global Strike Team contract their personnel and expertise to companies and countries around the world to help “resolve” situations for those who have the funds but not the means to do so. The GST is made up of specially selected SWAT officers and ex-military personnel who have shown the ability to adapt to and overcome any situation they encounter. Atari Brings 'SuperMan' To NGC/GBA

Atari announced plans to release Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for the Nintendo GameCube and announced the upcoming Superman: Countdown to Apokolips for the Game Boy Advance ­ both titles are scheduled for release in March 2003. Developed by Infogrames’ Sheffield House and based on the Warner Bros. and DC Comics hit animated series, The New Superman Adventures. Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for Nintendo GameCube is a port of the successful version currently available on PS2, and also features voice acting by the original cast, a sweeping orchestral score and more than 30 minutes of stunning cinematics.

'Inside Pitch 2003' Announced (Xbox) - Screens

Microsoft Game Studios announced today its first baseball title for the Xbox, "Inside Pitch 2003." This Xbox Live enabled title will begin turning double plays, throwing brush back pitches and clearing the fences for the 2003 Major League Baseball season. Nomar Garciaparra will appear on the cover and serve as spokesperson for "Inside Pitch 2003." 'Toca Race Driver' - Demo Available NOW

Codemasters has just released a new beta demo of Pro Race Driver (a.k.a Toca Race Driver) offering a renewed opportunity to try out this upcoming touring car racing simulation by Codemasters. While some other places seem to have put up a 'HOMM4 Winds of War' game announcement, the game was already announced last year and went gold last month. Instead 3DO let us know that they have shipped the Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Winds of War expansion pack to stores and should appear on shelves any time now. In the second expansion to the best-sellingfantasy turn-based strategy game, players battle fantastic creatures and face fierce armies across 45 action-packed maps.

'Motor City Online' Runs Out Of Fuel

Starting August 29, 2003, Motor City will no longer be in service. After a fun run of over a year of online racing, Electronic Arts has made the decision to close Motor City Online in order to focus resources on future games. "Please check your email associated with your Motor City Online game account for updates and more information on what this closure means to you. We hope you've enjoyed the game as much as we have and that we'll see you again in another great EA game! " EA is offering subscribers a free copy of either The Sims Online or Ultima Online, provided they accept the offer prior to the end of MCO billing and are over 13 years of age. Infogrames Sells 'Driver' Rights To Constantin Film/Impact Pictures
