'Crashday' - Screens

Crashday puts the player in a world of stunts, dents and adrenalin. His task is to scrap his vehicle with breathtaking stunts or to wreck cars in aggressive street races, showing his opponents that they made a fatal mistake in choosing him as their enemy. The battle setting place in maps partly created by the player is sponsored by a crazy video shop owner who sells new vehicles, weapons and other upgrades from time to time.

Logitech Achieves 'Force Feedback Racing Wheels' Milestone

Logitech today announced that it has sold more than one million force feedback wheels worldwide since the original Logitech Formula Force GP rolled off the production line in September 1998. Logitech has now brought to market eight force feedback-enabled wheels across the PC, PlayStation2 and Nintendo GameCube gaming platforms, and was the first company to introduce a force feedback wheel for any console.

'Homeworld 2' Goes Gold

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that Homeworld2, the sequel to 1999's award-winning, space-based real-time strategy game, Homeworld, has gone gold and will ship to North American retailers September 16, 2003. 'Chrome' Goes Gold

Techland announced today that the worldwide version of Chrome goes gold. Chrome is a tactical FPP shooter taking place in distant future. Colonization of a newly discovered planetary system is the background for the game. Chrome offers photorealistic graphics depicting vast, forested terrain and unique playability based on the implant system, vehicles, and freedom of the player during the missions. To find out more about Chrome, please visit www.chromethegame.com or the Techland exhibitions at GC Games Convention in Leipzig/Germany between 21 and 24 of August 2003 or at the upcoming ECTS in London. Namco Takes Control of the Wheel with 'Street Racing Syndicate'

Further strengthening its racing games legacy, Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that it has purchased Street Racing Syndicate (SRS) out of video game publisher 3DO's bankruptcy court proceedings. Currently in development at UK-based studio, Eutechnyx Ltd., Street Racing Syndicate puts players behind the wheel in the fast-paced world of underground motorsports. Under Namco's new charge, the title will release in Q3 2004 on the next generation game consoles.
