Agetec's Mark 'Duhrin' Johnson revealed on
the official Agetec forum that From Software's upcoming horror/FPS "Shadow Tower: Abyss" has been rejected by SCEA's (Sony Computer Entertainment America) Quality Control department and therefor is now cancelled. According to Johnson, reason for the thumbs down was the poor graphics and the fact that there was no market for this type of game in North America. Metro3D might still release 'Shadow Tower: Abyss' in Europe. If you want to read more about it then head on over to

Interactive entertainment publisher, Mastiff LLC announced today that they will be publishing another of Nippon Ichi Software Inc’s great tactical RPGs, La Pucelle: Tactics, exclusively for the PlayStation2 in early May 2004. Techland has released a new MP patch for their sci-fi shooter Chrome. This upgrade brings your retail game to v1.2.0.0 and adds a few new maps, HUD changes, switchable positions in vehicles and a few other tweaks. Strategy First wants to express the fact this patch is NOT for North American versions of the game, that patch will come later. ASCARON Entertainment has announced that the German edition of their RPG game Sacred has reached Gold Master status and that it will be available in stores (in Germany only we assume) February 27th. Encore is the North American distributor for Sacred, and it is expected to go gold soon in the next few weeks as well.
