'Shenmue Online' - Screens

SEGA has reached an alliance agreement with JC Entertainment Corp. in Korea to co-develop and co-publish Shenmue Online. SEGA also has an agreement with T2 Technology Holdings Inc. to allow T2 technology to handle the Chinese online game operation of Shenmue Online. The commercial launch will take place in 2005. Shenmue Online is a PC MMO Action Role-Playing Game (RPG) based on the Dreamcast Shenmue franchise. Read more for some cinematic screens...

SCRAPLAND is an action game. In third-person, the player controls D-Tritus when he goes on foot and his gunship when he pilots on Chimera streets. The player, by hacking into the GDB, can transform himself into 15 different characters, acquiring then the special ability of every one of them. The player can also drive any gunship he finds and can create his own collection of unique gunships, freely combining pieces he finds aboard the ship.

Merscom Signs 'Project Freedom' and 'Terrorist Takedown'

Merscom LLC today announced an agreement with CITY Interactive to publish three of the developer's PC games in North America: Space Interceptor: Project Freedom, a space arcade combat game, Terrorist Takedown, a military arcade shooter, and WWII Fighter Pilot (previously announced), a flight arcade combat game. All games are value-priced at $19.99 USD and scheduled for Q4 2004 release.

Eidos announces that the highly anticipated ShellShock: Nam ’67 will be released in Europe on 3rd September and North America on 14th September. ShellShock: Nam ’67 is an action game based on the Vietnam War. Developed by Guerrilla, it will be available on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

'Dragonshard' Officially Announced

While it was already revealed a week or 2 ago, Atari has announced plans to develop "Dragonshard" a real-time strategy game based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe created by Wizards of the Coast. "Dragonshard" will be the first game set in the exciting new D&D campaign setting, Eberron, a cinematic and war-torn world of action, adventure and intrigue where fantasy meets magical technology.

'Neverwinter Nights 2' Announced

Atari, Obsidian Entertainment and BioWare have announced plans for Neverwinter Nights 2, the sequel to BioWare Corp.'s best-selling and genre-defining role-playing game set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe created by Wizards of the Coast. Atari, Inc. will publish the title.

'Psychonauts' (Xbox) Also Coming To PC
