'Football Manager 2005' - v5.0.3 Update Patch Available NOW

Sports Interactive has released a new path for its football management simulation FM 2005. This update brings your retail game to v5.0.3 and adds all changes in personnel that have occurred in the world of football since the game's initial release on Nov 4th 2004 and the closure of the recent transfer window on January 31st (a total of more than 160,000 changes of player, coaching and managerial staff.) 'Heavy Metal Thunder' (PS2) Revealed

While there are no specific details available yet, Square Enix today revealed its newest title, Heavy Metal Thunder. Heavy Metal Thunder was unveiled during a concert in Japan, where rock band Sex Machineguns performed a live set promoting their new album, also titled "Heavy Metal Thunder." During the event, Square Enix showed a short trailer of the game filled with mechs and jets, but that was all there was to it. Square Enix is also sponsoring a new anime TV show, "Heavy-Meta san," which will air in Japan every Tuesday at midnight, beginning April 5.

A new video game rating category, E10+ (Everyone 10 and older), was introduced today by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), to help consumers more easily differentiate between games that have content appropriate for the whole family and games that are suitable for ages 10 and older.

Ubisoft Acquires Microids Canada

Ubisoft announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire MC2-Microids (Microids Canada) Canadian development operations and integrate them into its Montreal studio. The closing of this agreement is subject to requirements to be met by the two parties. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Following this agreement, Microids Canada's fifty employees will be integrated into Ubisoft's Montreal studio operations. This agreement does not cover any of MC2-Microids intellectual property or projects currently under development.

In Popeye: Rush for Spinach, the Sea Hag witch has stolen the world's supply of spinach to feed her ghosts. 'KOTOR II: The Sith Lords' - Update Patch Coming Soon

Last month LucasArts released a small v1.01a patch for the UK/German editions of Knights of the Old Republic 2 addressing some ingame text issues, as well as update the game documentation. At that point the the community manager said a North American patch was due to be released soon, which is now being confirmed by Obsidian's Chris Avellone, who also makes mention of a "content patch" due to be released later on. While there was specific release date or list of fixes provided, Chris did mention this was a pure bug fix patch.

'Medal of Honor European Assault' (PS2/Xbox) - Screens

Back in October EA announced the newest edition in the MoH franchise, successor to Rising Sun, Medal of Honor: Dogs of War. Originally scheduled for early 2005, it was then delayed to Q1 2006 (April through June) and now news has come in that the title has been renamed MoH European Assault to better appeal to the overseas market, and more accurately reflect the setting of the game itself, the European theatre of war.

European 'Wanda & the Colossus' (PS2) Is Now 'Shadow of the Colossus'

While still not many details have been revealed about SCEI's sequel to what a lot of people call one of the best games of all time, ICO, Sony Europe decided to rename Wanda & the Colossus into Shadow of the Colossus.
