SEGA's NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams is the long awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed NiGHTS franchise that gave gamers the freedom to fly in a world of dreams and imagination.

Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks will offer next-generation DVDs in the HD DVD format and drop support for Blu-ray, further complicating the race between the competing technologies. Previously, all of its movies were released in both formats, but manufacturing the HD-DVD discs and players is much cheaper, which prompted Paramount's decision.

Epic Games announced that it has acquired a majority interest in Warsaw, Poland-based game developer People Can Fly, best known for Painkiller, but most recently has been collaborating with Epic on the PC version of Gears of War.
