Rock Band allows you to perform music from the world’s biggest rock artists with your friends as a virtual band using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone, in addition to offering online connectivity. On top of the 3 tracks revealed last week, Mötley Crüe will be the first group to release a brand-new song as playable track on Xbox Live and PSN later this week.

Rock Band allows you to perform music from the world’s biggest rock artists with your friends as a virtual band using drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone, in addition to offering online connectivity. Last week EA finally revealed that it would be releasing Rock Band in Europe on May 23, but only on Xbox 360 as Microsoft scored a timed exclusive. Apart from the pricing outrage (inexplicably the bundle in twice as expensive) it turns out PS2, Wii and PS3 gamers will have to wait until August.

While GT 5 Prologue is already available in Europe, it will not show up in stores on Blu-ray, or downloadable on PSN until April 15. Even further out is the actual full GT5 game, which according to SCEA associate producer Chris Hinojosa-Miranda is still about a year away. While the franchise is unlikely to appear on any non-Sony consoles, Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi revealed in an interview with Austrian newspaper Der Standard that Gran Turismo 5 might make an appearance on the PC.
