The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a remake/upgrade of 2004's Escape from Butcher Bay in high def., as well as adding the Dark Athena chapter, expanding the original game with a new story and new gameplay features such as online multiplayer. Last year Sierra delayed the game until 2008, months later Starbreeze CEO Johan Kristiansson said it was looking good and nearing completion, then caught up in the Activision Blizzard merger, the latest update comes from Starbreeze's forum admin who revealed that it "is just about done. And the big boys are deciding who is going to publish it."

According to the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, Capcom is working on bringing the original Gamecube (which was based on the 1996 PSOne game) title in the Resident Evil series to the Wii. Currently only scheduled for a December release in Japan, the port will add no new content or features apart from making it compatible with the Wiimote controls.
