When Bizarre Creations was bought by Activision, it had to abandon the Project Gotham series owned by Microsoft, but it wasn't exactly a secret that it had a new racing game in development. Blur has now been confirmed by French magazine Joypad. Bizarre isn't afraid to deviate from the norm (The Club), and Blur will be more of a vehicular combat game than a straightforward racer, allowing you to equip your car with weapons like mines and shields. It'll take you to locations like London, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo, and it'll feature a reworked collision system (think Burnout), as well as a social networking system.
