Start Your Nascar Career Today On Game Boy Advance

by Rainier on May 7, 2002 @ 9:57 p.m. PDT

Infogrames, Inc. today is revolutionizing the portable NASCAR experience with the release of NASCAR Heat Advance for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Utilizing the power of Nintendo’s handheld video game system, NASCAR Heat Advance lets players strap themselves into a 750 hp stock car and enjoy all the thrills and spills of NASCAR Winston Cup Series racing anywhere.
Whether it’s the innovative Beat The Heat™ challenges or the all-new Career Mode, NASCAR Heat Advance promises to put the pedal to the metal and dust its competition. In fact, NASCAR Heat 2002 is the first NASCAR game for the hand-held system to provide race fans with the ability to see the entire car on the racetrack, not just the back of the car view that has been the only view available until now.

Six different racing modes await players: Arcade Mode, Beat the Heat, Multiplayer, Career Mode, Single Race and Time Trial. Career Mode rewards the player with better cars and teams for good performance or can penalize the player for poor finishes by being dropped from a team. Sixteen Beat The Heat Challenges drop racers into some of the most intense moments in NASCAR racing and dare them to outperform the pros. Players will also be able compete head-to-head with up to four other players via the Game Boy Advance Game LinkĀ® cable. With 24 cars in each race, and 12 cars onscreen at once, the action stays hot and the competition is furious.

Developed for Infogrames by Crawfish Interactive, NASCAR Heat Advance carries an approximate retail price of $29.99 and is rate ‘E’ for Everyone by the ESRB.
