Gizmondo On Display At E3

by Rainier on April 28, 2005 @ 8:26 a.m. PDT

Gizmondo Europe is delighted to announce its biggest E3 presence ever with a roster of fantastic new games to be unveiled, hands-on demos of the amazing multi-entertainment device, a string of A-list performances, and the first showing of some incredible new game hardware technology not available on any other gaming console.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is the world's leading trade event exclusively dedicated to showcasing interactive entertainment and educational software and related products, and runs from 18-20th May at the massive Los Angeles Convention Center.

The industry's annual focal point, E3 draws tens of thousands of industry professionals and analysts to experience the future of interactive entertainment. The industry's most influential people leading the most innovative companies come to this event to showcase groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products for computers, video game consoles, handheld systems and the Internet.

Gizmondo's multi-million dollar investment at this year's event will be impossible to miss. Positioned next to Microsoft® in South Hall and with 4500'-square of floor space, the stand will feature eight brand new titles in development, a further eight finished games, two new pieces of gaming technology on the handheld, an introduction to the revolutionary Smart AddsTM system, and entertainment-packed afternoon performances by A-list celebrities - all of which will be announced closer to the event.

Gizmondo will also be announcing new sponsoring partnerships, game licenses, future developments and the streetdate for the US launch of the multi-entertainment handheld.

Carl Freer, Co-Founder and Chairman Tiger Telematics Inc., comments: "Last year we were the newcomer at E3 showing a prototype of the Gizmondo and people were impressed. This year we're back with a multi-million dollar investment in the event, the finished article, and a fantastic line up of launch content." He added, "We're ready for the US."
