Officially launched on November 16, 2006 to over 25,000 retailers in the U.S., the Wii video game system is receiving rapid market acceptance. "Nintendo's Wii platform is an exciting evolution in the explosive video game market. Its unique design, ease of use and key features such as interactive TV channels bridges the gap between seasoned 'gamers' and their non-gaming friends and family," said Sirus Ahmadi, President and CEO of Conspiracy Entertainment. "We plan to publish games for a variety of users, including a whole new audience of first-time players worldwide. As a long-standing publisher for Nintendo's gaming platforms, Conspiracy Entertainment takes an early position in creating games for new hardware platforms as quickly as possible, and we intend to do just that for Wii."
"We have already received inquiries from our licensors, developers, distributors and customers regarding our plans for the Nintendo Wii," said Keith Tanaka, Conspiracy CFO. "We expect to publish games on this exciting new platform and are taking the necessary steps to make this happen as soon as possible."
The Company is currently looking for licenses and developers for the Wii system. No release dates are available at this time, but Conspiracy Entertainment is hopeful to release its first Wii titles in the first half of 2007.
