Earlier this year, Dejobaan Games announced development of its 13th title, AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity. For many, this was their first exposure to a studio whose founder claims to have housebroken a giant jellyfish. Dejobaan now hopes to fund AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!'s development by introducing these gamers to their bestseller, The Wonderful End of the World, having slashed its price in half to $9.95 at www.dejobaan.com/wonderful.
In Wonderful, the planet's going to be eaten by a fish-headed demon. But you'll try to rescue as much as you can before it does. As a tiny puppet that grows with every object it gathers, you start out as a collection of jelly beans and marbles, and work your way up to a behemoth with fire engines for arms and the ability to absorb entire buildings. Mike Fahey from Kotaku wrote, "I swoon! It's PC Katamari Damacy on crack..."
Dejobaan now plans to use the proceeds from Wonderful to fund development of AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!, due out in Q3 2009. While the new title has generated the most buzz of any of their games, most gamers' comments demanded that they update the aesthetics to somewhere post-1997. The studio therefore intends to split Wonderful's sales evenly between graphics, gameplay, and grande espressos.
AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! is scheduled for a Q3 2009 release
The game requires :
- Windows 2K, XP or Vista;
- a 1.5GHz processor;
- 1GB system memory;
- a 3D card with 128MB video memory;
- and Microsoft DirectX 9.0c or higher.
The Wonderful End of the World is available as digital download for $9.95.
