At the heart of PS3 is the Cell Broadband Engine, one of the most advanced computer processors in the world, that enables massive floating point calculation, and Blu-ray Disc (BD) drive, providing a High Definition (1080p) next-generation gaming and movie experience in the home, as well as up to 50 GB of data capacity.
Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao ($14.99); demos for WET, DiRT 2, NHL 10, F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn; DLCS for Transformers, LittleBigPlanet, Crash Commando, Cross Edge, Fight Night Round 4, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Tiger Woods 10; song packs for Rock Band (Unplugged); and the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes and downloadable PSP games (CoolBoarders 2, Tomb Raider 2, SimCity 2000).
