In the beautiful, magical world of Sequin Land lives a spirited young half-genie named Shantae. The Switch exclusive physical “Ultimate Day One Edition” launch edition of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is shimmying off store shelves at a record rate, making it one of XSEED Games' fastest-selling limited editions to date.

Sadly, the party can’t last forever, and supplies of the “Ultimate Day One Edition” have all been shipped to retailers, so once retailers sell through their current inventory, this edition will be gone forever. For Shantae fans who missed out but still want to secure a retail copy of the game, the “Ultimate Day One Edition” will be replaced in the coming weeks by a standalone Nintendo Switch release titled Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - Ultimate Edition. This edition still contains the base game and all DLC, but omits the bonus art book and soundtrack.
