Battlefield V multiplayer will deliver the most immersive gameplay of the franchise in a sandbox environment that portrays the battles of World War 2, allowing players to feel the force of the fight and truly shape the war as the war shapes them. Players’ soldiers can now tow stationary weapons, build fortifications and repair war-torn structures to turn the battlefield to the player’s advantage. Whether dragging a squad mate to safety or shooting a grenade out of the sky, players will forge a deeper connection to the ever-evolving world around them and achieve victory against the toughest odds. DICE revealed the full details surrounding their “Road To Battlefield V” program, offering players free Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 expansion content, in-game gear that they can take to Battlefield V, and other challenges and various in-game activities leading up to the launch of Battlefield V on October 19.

The “Road To Battlefield V” started in May with free giveaways of the In the Name of the Tsar and Final Stand expansions from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4, respectively, and will further expand through the summer months to offer even more free content and in-game events.

The next wave of promotional activities includes more expansion giveaways, weekly rewards for playing (including the ability to net exclusive vanity items for use in Battlefield V when it launches), new map rotations, and much more.

Expansion Giveaways:

• We're giving away every expansion for Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 in the months leading up to Battlefield V. So, watch the calendar to claim those free expansions when they show up.
• In May, players claimed Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar and joined the ranks of the largest mobilized army that entered World War 1 in six massive maps. Not long after, players entered the fight in the 1915 British amphibious assault of the Gallipoli peninsula in Battlefield 1 Turning Tides, which introduced powerful ways to dominate land, sea, and air.
• Before the end of this month, two of the most infamous battles of WW1 will be free with the giveaway of Battlefield 1 Apocalypse.
• You might have missed the previous free expansion giveaways, but players may still get the chance to claim them again in the future.

Weekly Rewards:

• You should also mark your calendars for weekly in-game rewards in Battlefield 1. When logging into Battlefield 1, a new menu lists daily tasks that will go toward earning various rewards, like weapon and equipment skins, Dog Tags, and Squad XP Boosts. The available rewards unlock weekly and can be earned during that window. Don’t worry if you missed some, you can still earn those too!
• Frequent in-game missions based on the expansions and zodiac star signs.

Map Rotations:

• Tailor-made map playlists on rotation every Tuesday. They are designed to provide a tour through the variety of Battlefield 1 maps and modes as well as deliver a great place to complete your daily and weekly challenges.

Get a Head Start on Your Battlefield V Gear:

• Those Battlefield 1 in-game rewards also include periodic, exclusive vanity items for Battlefield V, available for use in that game at launch.
• In Battlefield V, you’ll be able to customize your Company of soldiers with Special Soldier Sets containing weapon skins, camo patterns, head gear, and face paint for the British Special Air Service and German Airborne troops. Six of these are available when you pre-order the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition, but the only way to earn an additional 2 soldier sets is via the Road to Battlefield V.

There will be no premium pass, all players will have access to the same maps and modes, keeping the community unified as they progress through Battlefield V. In Tides of War, their journey through World War 2 will grow through themed experiences that will include events and all-new ways to play like Grand Operations, while also unlocking the latest themed rewards such as weapons and vehicles to further shape their Company.

Battlefield V will be available worldwide October 19th on Xbox One, PS4 and Origin for PC. Those that order the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition will get access three days early on October 16, while EA Access and Origin Access members will be able to jump into the Play First Trial on October 11. Players that pre-order any edition of the game with the Battlefield V Enlister Offer will get early access to the Open Beta and other in-game benefits including soldier customization options, access to Special Assignments starting at launch week and immediate access to five weapons to use in Battlefield 1
