In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the action takes place in Ancient Greece, a world rich with myths and legend, in fifth century BC during the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens.

Take control of your destiny and write your own epic odyssey as you journey to become a legendary Spartan hero. Live incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Rejected by your family, you must embark on an adventure from outcast mercenary to legendary Spartan hero to uncover the truth about your past.

Playing as Alexios or Kassandra, a mercenary of Spartan blood sentenced to death by their family, players will embark on an epic journey from a young outcast to a legendary hero and uncover the truth about their mysterious lineage.

NEW GAME +

The new title update will bring to the game a new feature: New Game +. It will allow players to start a new game while keeping all their hard earned gear, upgrades, abilities that they have gathered in their previous play through. Consequently, they will be able to change the choices they made and chose whether they want to play as Kassandra or Alexios.

To access the New Game + players need to complete the main Story Arc, then, a new option in the menu will allow them to copy their eligible save game as a New Game +.

THE LOST TALES OF GREECE

The sixth episode of the free content The Lost Tales of Greece named “A Brother’s Seduction” already available. In this episode, players encounter brotherly rivalry that will create some family drama. The first quest is called “Prodigal Son’s Return”.

NEW FEATURES

• Level Cap will be increased to 99.
• 22 more Fast Travel points will be added mainly near ports.
• Two additional tiers will be added to the Mercenary Ladder.
• Photo Mode Frames will be added including 10 frames.

ACCESSIBILITY UPDATE

Players will be able to alter the background behind dialogue to semitransparent black and to change the subtitle size.

NEW ITEMS

• The Wild Boar Pack contains the Wild Boar gear set, new mount and new legendary weapon. In addition, the goddess of the hunt Artemis has been released as Lieutenant for the Adrestia.
• The Deep Sea Hunter Pack contains gear set, new mount and legendary weapon. It also allows players to customize the Adrestia while providing new crew theme, the Teethers, a shark-style figurehead and a new ship design that will leave opponents helpless in the water.

PHOTO MODE CONTEST: WINTER IN GREECE

The third round of the Photo Mode Contest will start on February 21st with the new theme: Winter in Greece. Players will have a week to submit their pictures and try to win a Spartan Collector’s Edition of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

UPDATE ON ASSASSIN’S CREED III & LIBERATION REMASTERED

The remastered version of the game is just about a month away. It will come with improvements, such as new character models, modernized User Interface, a new lighting rendering system. Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation Remastered will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 29, 2019 and are also included in the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass.
