Haxity seeks to deliver a never-before-seen card gaming experience, while being one of the very first PVP movers in the exciting new action deck-builder genre. A genre of card games where a major part of the gameplay is to draft cards and modify your deck as you play.

In Haxity you jack into a gritty cyberpunk sprawl, where a mixed bag of derelicts are fighting to survive the daily grind. This is where you come in, the player. You must survive the city, work your way up the ranks and find the optimal strategy to crush your foes. At your disposal is a hefty amount of cool gadgets, black market technologies and hacks.

The cards can be mixed, mashed and hacked, and the outcome can turn around…really fast. It’s street fighting, the cyberpunk way. It has the combos and powerful emotions of a fighting game, mixed with the mind-games and depth of card games. In short; a digital card game where every move you make is decided with cards, and where every playthrough is different.

Megapop Games has announced that the Fast & Furious update for Haxity is available on Steam Early Access, with a special 30% discount offer this weekend.

This is the third major content update for Haxity after its well received Early Access release in June. This update focuses on the PvP aspect of the game, providing a brand new Best Of 3 PvP game mode.  

Haxity becomes a more focused pure PvP experience with the ‘Fast & Furious’ update. The new Best of 3 game mode allows players to draft faster, and experience frenetic fights against other players. In addition, the tutorial has been revamped to make it even easier for new players to get into the action and  survive in Haxity.  

“It's when you play against other players that Haxity truly shines!” says Thomas Sørensen, Game Director of Haxity. “In this update we have streamlined the PvP experience, and made matches much quicker, so you can vanquish more enemies in a shorter amount of time.”

To celebrate the update, Megapop Games will run a #PlayWithDevs session on Discord featuring the famous streamer Jeff Hoogland, a well known Magic the Gathering player and card game enthusiast. You can follow his stream on his Twitch.tv channel, starting today at 18:45 GMT+2, and get a chance to receive one of the free game keys that he will be giving away. 

Starting today at 19:00 GMT+2, players will have the opportunity to buy Haxity at a 30% discount on Steam, all weekend long.   

Haxity is currently available through Steam Early Access.
