As the eFootball PES franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary since its debut in 1995 and over 100 million copies sold, Konami invites football fans all over the world to join them once again as they head out onto the pitch for a new action-packed season of football and prepare for the future.
eFootball PES 2021 Lite
Konami announced eFootball PES 2021 Lite, the latest free-to-play version of the acclaimed football simulator for PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam), which is available to download from today.
PES 2021 Lite provides unrestricted access to all the features of myClub mode, which allows players to build their very own dream team that suits their personal playstyle. Players can train their rookies into superstars, or sign Legends and other powerful footballers to get an edge on the competition.
The Iconic Moment Series, new from launch this year, is the latest way to improve your myClub squad. These strong player variants are based on memorable moments from the careers of current and former superstars, featuring boosted stats that reflect their performance at that time.
PES 2021 Lite also includes access to Matchday, a competitive PvP mode where players participate in mass events inspired by real world football matches and infamous rivalries.
Matchday is also the home of the eFootball.Open, a highly accessible esports tournament that welcomes players of all skill levels. Those that reach the highest stages of the tournament have the chance to be selected to join future squads of any of our professional clubs within eFootball.Pro.
For those looking to sharpen their skills against COM players, PES 2021 Lite provides the “Local Match” and “Training” modes in addition to the online modes detailed.
Finally, the highly popular Edit Mode is included for players on PS4 and PC Steam, giving the ability to customise and create uniforms, emblems, team names and more. There is also the option to import data created by other users for virtually limitless variety of designs.
eFootball PES 2021 Lite is now available as a free download with optional in-game purchases on PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam), with backwards compatibility available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Last season’s eFootball.Open was a runaway success, amassing over 1.4 million tournament participants worldwide. Starting today, any eFootball PES 2021 Season Update console or mobile player will be able to participate in the Online Qualifiers.
eFootball.League is an esports tournament that welcomes competitors of all skill levels. As with last season, the series is divided into two divisions: eFootball.Pro, the elite competition exclusively for professional football clubs, and eFootball.Open, the amateur tournament open to all players. eFootball.Open – Enter Now!
Last season’s eFootball.Open was a runaway success, amassing over 1.4 million tournament participants worldwide. From today, any eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE (PES 2021) console or mobile player will be able to participate in the Online Qualifiers.
Players on PES 2021 Lite, newly released and free to play, will also be able to enter eFootball.Open, ensuring its position as one of the most accessible esports tournaments globally.
The top performing competitors in each round will earn a place to proceed onward and may eventually be selected to compete in the World Finals in July 2021.
eFootball.Open is available to all users and takes place in certain Matchday events that use pre-set teams. Meet the conditions set out in each stage of the tournament to earn eFootball Points, a new type of currency that can be exchanged for various in-game bonuses, including Iconic Moment Legends. Furthermore, during Online Qualifiers Round 1 from December 7th, all users can earn more eFootball Points in addition to regular rewards. Higher round users entered, more eFootball Points they can earn.
To celebrate the beginning of the new season, all users who login to PES 2021 or PES 2021 Lite can claim 10,000 eFootball Points. Earn more points by engaging with various eFootball League activities and exchange those for select Iconic Moment Series players.
