European gaming conference Digital Dragons is kicked off its Indie Celebration on Steam, introducing 50 of the year's biggest indie games.

Digital Dragons Indie Celebration, co-produced by the independent publishing studio Walkabout Games, is a digital version of Digital Dragons. This popular festival, organized by Kraków Technology Park, is Central Europe's leading game industry event for specialists, professionals, and developers, taking place every year in Krakow, Poland. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's edition has been postponed to 14-15 of September 2020.

Digital Dragons Indie Celebration has officially launched on Steam and lasts for three days. The event, co-produced by Walkabout Games, will feature 50 new and upcoming independent games from around the world.

The titles are being showcased on a dedicated Steam homepage, with live demos and developer interviews in three packed days of livestreams. The event culminates on the last day a virtual award ceremony recognising the top three games of the show, as well as the results of the judges' and community-nominated awards.

The featured games will be live-streamed by multiple professional and multilingual streamers over the event's duration. 24 will be available in the form of playable demos. The best titles will be selected and awarded by the jury of gaming industry experts. Every registered Steam user will also be able to vote for the game that will receive the Community Vote award.
