'Gravitational' Comes to Oculus, HTC Vive And Valve Index Headsets Next Week - Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 4, 2021 @ 1:45 p.m. PDT

Gravitational is a VR game that takes place in a utopic future, where large corporations are in a race with each other to develop ‘gravitational travel & control’ systems.

In Gravitational, we are a few decades in the future. Humanity continues to prosper and the race to discover new technologies grows every day.

Systems which will revolutionize the World.  Playing as Sebastian, a scientist at GraviCorp, you are at the heart of a huge incident resulting in the main core collapse. It is down to Sebastian to bring the accident under control and avoid a major catastrophe.

Facing challenges in inaccessible places and understanding the conflicts and traumas that Sebastian experiences, you navigate the world using both Sebastian’s wheelchair and also experience and master movement in ‘Zero Gravity’.

Through the mechanics and the story of the game, face challenges in inaccessible places and also understand the conflicts and traumas that Sebastian experienced, both for being a person with a disability, and for being one of the greatest scientists behind this new technology.

Gravitational is an entertainment game, at the same time that it has a strong message about accessibility, reflection, and empathy with people with disabilities.

Key Features:

  • An Immersive VR Experience: See the Gravcorp station through the eyes of Sebastian in a gorgeous and detailed virtual environment. Everything floats inside gravitational fields, even Sebastian.
  • Up, Down, and Side to Side: Gravity is the key theme here and players will need to use their wits to solve challenging gravitational puzzles
  • Accessibility is Key: As a wheelchair user, Sebastian faces challenges in a world that isn’t designed for him, allowing players to experience life from the perspective of a person who must tackle these difficulties head-on
  • Digital BFF: An AI based on Sebastian’s deceased friend will be his only companion and will serve as both a guide and companion throughout the game

Currently available for PlayStation VR, Gravitational is coming to Oculus Quest 2, Oculus Rift, Oculus S, HTC Vive, and Valve Index via Steam and Viveport on November 11, 2021.
