Endzone: A World Apart is a post-apocalyptic city-builder set in a world ravaged by a catastrophic worldwide nuclear powerplant meltdown caused by terrorists in 2021.

Endzone: A World Apart challenges players to prove themselves as a worthy leader and survive in a hostile environment where the most dangerous foes are the unforgiving climate and catastrophic weather events.

Endzone: A World Apart follows a group of refugees who, more than a century after a devastating worldwide nuclear powerplant terrorist attack, are leaving their underground bunkers and rebuilding society on the surface. After 150 years dwelling underground in bunkers called ‘endzones,” Earth’s surface seems like a breath of fresh air, though that couldn’t be any further from the truth! Players will face the likes of toxic rain, dangerously radioactive environments, raging sandstorms, and a merciless climate.

While spearheading the rise of humanity, men, women, and children will need protection from threats of all kinds, and there’s no telling what each new day will bring on the forsaken planet from which they’ve emerged.

Two months ago the survival building strategy game Endzone - A World Apart appeared on Steam and GOG in full release.

On the day of its release, the strategy title stormed the Steam Charts. In the worldwide charts, Endzone made it to number 4 and in Germany even to number 2! In addition, Endzone was recognized by Valve as a "Top Release" for both early access and full release in their respective month as well as one of the most successful releases in 2020. In total, Endzone has already been purchased 300,000 times . In addition, there are now over 500,000 Steam users that have the survival strategy hit on their wish list.

All the better that the sales success gives a lot back to the world. Thanks to the special Save The World edition , trees are planted worldwide with the official partner One Tree Planted for each unit sold. This campaign has been running since the Early Access phase and provides active help for environmentally friendly reforestation and in the fight against climate change. To date, Assemble has planted over 50,000 trees worldwide.

Not only the sales figures, but also the reviews and awards reflect the success of Endzone . On Steam alone, over 3,000 users have so far left a positive rating . The surprise hit is currently nominated as "Best Desktop Game" at DevGamm and has only just wonrecently the " Animated Games Award Germany " at the International Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS). The jury is enthusiastic about such a complex achievement, which results in a huge and coherent overall picture both in detail and with foresight. The potentialwas already recognized in advance, because in 2020 Endzone was nominated for the German Developer Award for "Best Indie Game" and for the gamescom award for "Best Strategy Game" and "Best Simulation".

As far as the future is concerned, the developers at Gentlymad Studios have already spoken out clearly: Endzone's journey is far from over . Strategy fans can look forward to a major expansion at the end of the year.
